The developers (“us”, “our”, “the developers”) of Nyx (“bot”, “software”) do not require the storage any specific data from the user (“you”, “the user”, “member”) by default, as the majority of the configuration that lets
the bot deliver its features have a default value that allows for it to run as it was originally intended.
No user data is saved or shared without proper reason, with reasons including but not limited to server and/or bot configuration, moderation, bot blacklists, or as part of an official request by Discord Inc. or the proper law enforcement.
There are precautions put in place by us within the software to limit access to the servers in which your data is stored to only clients that require those servers in order to bring you the software. However, in the extremely rare chance of a data breach, you will be notified within 1-2 business days with everything we know about the incident.
The Nyx Dashboard (“the dashboard”, “Nyx Dash”, “dashboard”) is accessible via a web browser, and requires a user token in order to verify your identity on the application, as well as prove that the user has the necessary permissions to access the requested data or features. This token is temporary, as Discord’s API requires a fresh token in order to access user data after some time. This means that, some time after you login, the dashboard will require you to login again in order to make any changes.
